About GPS

A school rooted in resilience

Ghaf Private School is a close-knit British curriculum community where academic excellence, individuality, empathy and 21st-century life skills grow together.

The Ghaf tree story

Our name comes from the Ghaf tree, Prosopis cineraria, the UAE's national tree. Native to the desert, drought-tolerant and evergreen, it is known for resilience and became a symbol of tolerance during the UAE Year of Tolerance in 2019. These qualities guide the character we nurture in every learner.
